EBIB is an independent fashion brand dedicated to creates stunning designs that blending authentic African style with modern chic. Their mission extends beyond showcasing African fashion; Through their work, they celebrate and share the elegance and diversity of African fashion while fostering a community of creativity and innovation. In today's world, inclusivity and diversity are crucial in the creative environment. Their collection reflects a commitment to environmental sustainability. From printmaking to fabric selection and garment design, every step is meticulously crafted with sustainability in mind. By using recyclable and sustainable fabrics, EBIB not only creates beautiful designs but also promotes environmental responsibility. Offering these designs for rent or custom-made helps reduce garment waste and encourages conscious consumption.
Brand EBIB began in 2018 as a self-initiated project focusing on the profound impact body image has on identity and self-perception in society. The founder Sheila Langton a textile designer passionate about creating both handmade and digital prints, draws inspiration from the environment, particularly nature and geometric shapes, as well as the vibrant colors of ther Sierra Leonean heritage. The idea to incorporate body positivity into their designs originated from a university colleague, sparking a transformation in their design philosophy. What started with selling tote bags and T-shirts has evolved into producing garments that reflect both beauty and purpose. The development and success of Brand EBIB are credited to the support and encouragement from teachers, friends, university colleagues, and family. A significant turning point came with the collaboration with Shein X, which provided a platform to showcase and further develop the brand. Without this collective support, EBIB's growth and impact would not have been possible.
How It Works
Browse & Choose
Explore our collection and select the item(s) you'd like to rent. Place Your Rental Request Contact us with the details of your chosen items and rental dates.
Sign the Rental Agreement
Before renting, you’ll need to sign a rental agreement. This ensures everyone understands the terms.
Pay Deposit
A refundable deposit is required to secure your rental. This will be returned after the item is returned in good condition.
Damage or Loss:
If an item is damaged or lost, the cost of repair or replacement will be deducted from your deposit. If the damage exceeds the deposit, you will be required to pay the difference. Care Instructions: Please handle all rented items with care. Do not attempt to wash or alter the clothing yourself.
Postage Costs:
If shipping is required, you will need to cover any difference in postage costs. This includes both delivery and return shipping.
Timely Return:
Items must be returned on the agreed-upon date. Late returns may incur additional charges. Deposit Refunds: Deposits will be refunded within 2-3 business days after the item has been inspected and approved for return.
